Name: Lee Kendall
Lee has had an illustrious playing career spanning over three decades. A consistent winner of major titles, highlights include winning two European Championships, claiming 7 IPA/UKPT Tour titles as well as numerous professional events.
A versatile cueist, Lee was also part of the first European team to win the Mosconi Cup in 1995.
‘The Fox’ is both the longest serving England player and captain of all time, a success story which spans 20 years and counting.
Having played in every major tournament around the world, Lee is now perfectly placed to promote the sport he loves. He has already hosted some of the biggest profile competitions in English 8 Ball, most recently the Players Amateur Championships which boasted impressive prize funds.
Lee has now decided that promoting is where his heart is and with the respect, support and backing of every single player and fan involved in the sport, the trailblazer wants to unify the divisions and to create a series of tournaments for all players, no matter what rule set they play.
“This is the dawn of a new era with all the world’s greatest players competing under one roof to see who the best of the best really is!” Lee said.
“In 2017 I set out to provide the best pool tournaments the English 8 Ball world had ever seen and to help players make a living out of the sport”.
“Pool is one of the most participated sports in the UK and my goal is to take it to the heights that we have all wanted to see it at for a very long time!”
Name: Lee Grout
I am a keen cue sports enthusiast with English 8ball pool being my top choice. I currently play in a local pub/club league in Cannock, Staffordshire (Cannock & South Staffs Pool League). I am the league secretary and Treasurer of the league and have been for a number of years now.
I have also played for Staffs County A and B sides, winning the national title on a couple of occasions with the B side and just falling short of winning it with the A side. I have also competed at Tour level where I managed to creep into the top 64. I do see myself as a decent pool player buts its having the time with working full time to put the hours in to get better than just decent.
Over the last couple of years, I have helped Lee Kendall run events at Players and this is what I also love to do. I thrive on being involved in such events and with the Supreme Pool Series going ahead, I just can’t wait for the first event to get going.
